2Q 2015 Paymaster Update
Marines,
Our 2nd quarter has been fruitful. We have given out two $2000.00 scholarships.
As you know we are getting ready for our Ball and we are selling raffle tickets for a model 1911. There are two other items you could win. With that we have had a booth at both the York Summerfest and Clover Car Show & Summerfest and have done quite well.
Our Toys for Tots program is kicking off this month and we are going to work with the Amrican Legion, VFW, and the county VSO to ensure that the veterans in our county are taken care of.
We have had one of our Associates named by the Commandant of the Marine Corps an Honorary Marine for his work done for Marines. John Wentling is the 95th person to receive this honor. During this time we have added members and have several that may come into our detachment.
